Admissions Appeals

Blue Coat School is regularly oversubscribed and as such many parents are not allocated a place.

If you are unsuccessful in gaining a place your child’s name will automatically be placed on the waiting list which will remain in operation until the end of the Autumn Term. You must inform the Local Authority at the end of every term if you wish to remain on the waiting list.

Once your child’s name is on the waiting list you have the right to appeal against the Governors’ decision not to admit your child. If you wish to appeal please contact Mrs Curtis using the information on the Contact Us Page.

Appeals are processed by the Diocesan Board of Education and are completely independent of Blue Coat School.
