How to Apply for Year 7
How does the application process work?
The application process for Year 7 placements starting in September 2025 will open in September 2024.
As an academy, Blue Coat School manages its own admissions and has its own admission policy.
Below, you will find a copy of our admission policy, the supplementary information form (SIF) for applicants wishing to apply under the faith criteria, and our school prospectus. In all cases, parents must complete their local authority’s secondary school application form by the specified deadline, typically 31 October while your child is in Year 6.
