These are all fantastic opportunities to help support your pathway – whether that be for university, apprenticeships or employment.

They are things to talk about in your Personal Statement for university, in applications for jobs and apprenticeships! In light of face-to-face to work experience not being possible currently, attending webinars are a great way to find out more and also to evidence your commitment to a pathway/career.

UCAS

At Blue Coat Sixth form, we provide one to one support for students applying to university. In addition to assemblies delivered by a variety of universities, students are encouraged to attend open days and taster days at their chosen institutions.

In recent years, students have gained places at a variety of Russell group universities, including scholarships at Oxbridge.

Apprenticeships

Students are provided with bespoke careers advice and support in applying for an apprenticeship. In recent years, students have gained apprenticeships at JLR amongst other local providers.
